This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, and San Juan County, Colorado

Housing Solutions for the Southwest (HSS) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from July 15, 2024, until July 31, 2024

This waiting list has the following preferences: Homeless; Disabled; Victims of Domestic Violence

Selection Process

It is not yet known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list, by order of preferences

Application Method

There are two ways to apply:

1. Complete an application at the HSS office, located at 295 Girard St, Durango, CO 81303, from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Thursday

2. Complete an application in person at one of the scheduled meeting locations listed here.

The following documentation is required when submitting the application: Social Security Number and birth date of all household members.
