This waiting list is for Public Housing rental housing assistance in City of Des Moines, Iowa

The Des Moines Municipal Housing Agency will accept Public Housing waiting list applications for 2, 3, 4 and 5-Bedroom Apartments from June 17, 2024 at 8:00 am, until August 17, 2024 at 5:00 pm CT

Preferences

This waiting list has the following preferences:

• Victim of physical violence; Victim of hate crime; Victim of natural disaster; Involuntarily displaced; Working

Selection Process

Selected applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, by order of preferences

Application Method

There are three ways to apply while the waitlist is open:

1. Pick up an application from the Administrative office located at 2309 Euclid Ave, Des Moines, Iowa 50310

2. Print the paper application that will be available on the City of Des Moines website

3. Call the Administrative Office at (515) 323-8950 to request an application be mailed

Once the paper application has been completed, it must be: returned to the Administrative Office, located at the address mentioned above
