The Housing Authority of Cynthiana (HAC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open until further notice.Cynthiana, KY is about 30 miles north of Lexington, KY.To apply, visit the HAC office to pick up a pre-application, located at 148 Federal St., Cynthiana, KY 41031, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm ET; and 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm; and 1:00 pm until 3:30 pm, on Wednesdays.No documents are needed at this time.The HAC does have a preference for applicants who live in Cynthiana.For more information, call the HAC office at (859) 234-5578 from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm; and 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
